'Tis the season to be jolly

Updated: Jul 1

Is that how you spell "tis?"

Anyway, I'm gunna get right to the point on this one. For those that despise reading, check out this short video summarizing this blog post and my current updates.

It has been a month. My apologies for not releasing a blog post in May.

April showers did in fact bring May flowers in the form of family and friends...or should I just say, loved ones!

We had 2 different visitors in May as well as a trip out of state to celebrate a high school graduation in the family. May was filled with so much good to be thankful for and love to fill thy soul.

Another thing that May brought was the opportunity to start something I have been thinking about for over 2 years.

A friend that I only met in November of last year has encouraged and pushed me to start my own podcast! 🎉 Shout out to Lady Amanda - who inadvertently signed up to be a mentor of mine as well 🙃

Introducing: My Wife's Unavailable

My Wife's Unavailable officially launches TODAY (June 5th) in honor of Wifey Wednesday, something we do every week in our house. 😆 This beautiful podcast can be found wherever you get your podcasts. And if you can't find it somewhere, PLEASE reach out to me. I will do my very best to make sure you can access it effortlessly.

My Wife's Unavailable started as an idea to have a podcast filled to the brim with organic, stimulating and real conversation between your average Joe's and Jane's. Side note: I don't like to be so gender specific but I do like the phrase and often call myself an average Joe 🤷

On my podcast, I wanted to be curious and silly. I wanted a judge-free zone and a safe space for anyone to share their curiosities and life experience. And I wanted some place to talk to people and have a good laugh.

A couple of months ago, I realized I have so many intriguing thoughts or ideas that run through my mind on any given day and I can't possibly share them all with the FIRST person that comes to mind (my wife.)

Being able to entertain every thought that comes to my mind would not only require GREAT presence and listening skills on her behalf but it would be a full time job in and of itself. And my sweet Emma already has a full time job and does SO MUCH for me and our little family.

Maybe this is a sort of my gift to her 🎁😆

So please kick back and relax (or whatever you do whilst listening to podcasts) and really soak up anything you can from this experience!

Until next time,

✌💟🌈
